Community Benefits began on April 20, 2011, established by work already done with Benefit Bank SC Thrives, managed and supervised by our State Regional Director, Richard Moses I. and Ulysses Sullivan, Jr. was assigned as a local Site Director in Bennettsville, South Carolina.

The purpose, mission and vision are to serve the community through various outreach resources. These resources include: providing assistance, family independence, and healthcare through various entities, such as, Welvista Prescription Assistance, Medicaid, Medicare RX help, food assistance through SNAP (food stamps), military (Veteran) benefites, education on housing benefits, voter registration, mental health support, and free state and federal tax preparation for those making less than $60,000 per year.
